Madison Ryann Ward Philadelphia Concert reviews
Security kinda bummed me out
Oh mannnn, Mannn. The concert was just amazing, I wanna say fricken off. Yada yada yada with my best friend and enjoy it but thing is, we went early for a reason. We got PIT tickets to get closer to the front. So, of course, we do what we were supposed to and get everything ready ahead of time so that nothing goes wrong. However- expect the unexpected-_-. We walk over to the pit section, show our tickets, show proof of vaccination. My friend goes through security in a different lane, and I go through another. The woman tells me that I can’t go through with the size bag that I have… I was confused because it wasn’t anything big and my friend who WENT THROUGH had the EXACT same size so I was like huh??? I didn’t want any trouble so I asked “okay what can I do?” And she said to go to some guy in the middle of all these gates so that I can give him my bag. No directions were given to me. I had to figure it out myself. I didn’t want to run late since that was the whole point of showing up early, so I run all the way around back to the main entrance trying to find a way to get to this guy and then I stop to ask another security member if they can show me how I can get to this guy and explain my situation. This security member mentioned that because the event allowed Madison Ryann Ward tote bags (which were bigger than my bag), they were allowing my size bag to go through and that the other security member was wrong. She asked me where my seat was so that she can help me go through from her section but because I had pit tickets, there was no access to the pit from her entrance. She told me to just go back and mention what she had just said. So here I am running back to the pit entrance, going through the whole motion again, and before I get to the same security member that stopped me, I get asked to go to a different lane to get checked. This security member had no issue with my bag whatsoever and I WENT THROUGH. Seriously? All of that could have just been prevented if I just went through a lane that had a security member who was well informed about the whole bag situation? It was pretty frustrating to be completely honest because I felt like I had just been put through something that I didn’t need to go through. AND by the time I went through, there were already so many people at the pit. It kinda sucked and I tried not to let it get to me but DANG. That was such a bummer :(.
